We attended last year and had an absolute blast so it was a no-brainer when we were asked to come back again this year! The FLCNSW had a big stand and a lot of lappies in attendance so the public always had a lappie or two up on a trolley for patting.
The girls were also lucky enough to be invited to show off their skills in the flyball ring for the public and were asked to demonstrate "Flygility", a sport that is a hybrid of flyball and agility. Though we had never done it before, both girls did amazingly well, even in front of the huge crowd and didn't put a paw wrong.
Squiggle was a brilliant breed ambassador, happily sleeping on her back and letting people rub her belly for hours on end all day, prompting lots of people to ask if she was like that all the time. Thankfully we had lots of photos of her up around the stall doing lots of different sports so it was easy to show people what she was like to have around on a day to day basis.
We had such a great time that we can't wait to do it all over again next year! A huge thanks to the FLCNSW members for putting their hand up to take part as well.
