Both girls absolutely loved it, zeroing in on the lure immediately and attempting to chase it down. Though I expected there to be some hesitation (they are, after all, chasing a plastic bag!) but there wasn't from either Squiggle or Soaks.
It was however, very interesting to watch the difference in the two girls, which we have put down to the difference in their drive levels - Squiggle, being the more prey driven of the two, was incredibly focused on the lure and after she knew what was going to happen when we went down to the coursing field, she attempted to chase the lure while we were standing in the queue! Soaks on the other hand, while very interested and quick to chase, was much more aware of the things going on around her, often flicking her ears behind her to listen to the sound of the lure track running through the grass behind her.
It will definitely be something we will keep up with and we can't wait for the first Lure Coursing trials to happen in NSW so we can get involved!
