The Flyball arena was indoors, which was quite a treat! Though indoor comps always mean that ear protection is a necessity! This comp was no exception! Solo took it all in his stride though and he happily played tug and performed tricks right next to the Flyball ring like it was our living room. I am very proud of how he is coming along.
Shell didn't enter this comp as Squiggle was entered in an Obedience trial in Wollongong. I had spent a good while having a whinge about Canberra Flyball comps not being the same without Shell, when I got the surprise of my life! Shell, while on her way to the Obedience comp, had decided to ditch her plans and drive to Canberra!!!!!!!!!!!! This just made my year! Of course she brought Slinky as well and it was great for The Twins to have a reunion!
The comp was run as two single-day comps. On both days, Soaks' team came 1st in Division 3 and Soaks was also made Dog of the Division on day 2!
