After a relaxing break over summer, we had our first comp back for the year! Soaks had a blast as usual and ran really well all day. Unfortunately the team didn't do as well as we had hoped, coming 4th in Division 2. Thankfully the weather wasn't too hot, with a lovely breeze all day.
Today was Dexter's first time at Flyball. Initially his chase instinct kicked in, but after 3 training sessions outside the ring, he was ignoring everything going on around him. He met lots of new dogs and was perfect in his crate. It really couldn't have gone any better! Dex has had minimal Flyball training to date, but he is developing some lovely foundations for what I hope will be a great Flyball career.
